Greendale Fire Department Plans Open House: Fire Prevention Month
Games, equipment demonstrations and tours at Greendale's firehouse will all take place on Oct. 16 during the annual open house.

GREENDALE, WI — Greendale Fire Department scheduled its annual open house event to take place on Oct. 16. For the event, the department plans to open its doors to the public for equipment demonstrations, games, tours and more.
The Greendale Fire Department announced news of the event on Facebook. According to the event listing, a flight for life helicopter will land during the event. Other activities include demonstrations of fire extinguishers and the "jaws of life," ladder climb games and more.
An obstacle course for kids will be set up, tours of the firehouse and fire trucks will take place and residents will be able to take their photo with Dalmations, according to the event listing. Residents will also get the chance to try on fire gear.

Food and snacks will be available for purchase with proceeds benefitting Burn Camp.
The event is planned to take place at the Greendale Fire Department, 5911 Grange Avenue, Oct. 16, 9 a.m.-3 p.m.
