Greendale High School Band To March In Tournament Of Roses Parade
The announcement was a surprise to the friends, families and supporters who gathered at the Steven J. Gavinski Stadium Tuesday night.

GREENDALE, WI -- Two years after performing in the 2016 Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, the Greendale High School Marching Band learned it's once again headed for the big time.
Under a clear sky and a harvest moon Tuesday night, band members held a rally at the Greendale High School field to announce that they have been invited to march in the 2020 Parade of Roses on January 1, 2020.

The announcement was a surprise to the friends, families and supporters who gathered at the Steven J. Gavinski Stadium Tuesday night. When the announcement came that the Pasadena Tournament of Roses selected the Greendale High School Band as one of 20 marching bands that will participate in the 131st Rose Parade, on January 1, 2020, a roar of the crowd ensued.
"The students are eager to show the community how much their support has been appreciated throughout the past 16 months." said Tom Reifenberg, Greendale High School Director of Bands in an interview with the Journal Sentinel Tuesday night. "The band and its families are very grateful for the tremendous community support that ensured we are able to take every student in the group to New York for this amazing experience."
