'Harboring A Vicious Animal,' Theft: Greendale Police Activity
'Vicious' dog, burglary, attempt at stealing patio furniture: Greendale Police Department released its activity log for June 30- July 6.

GREENDALE, WI β Greendale Police Department cited a non-resident for harboring a vicious animal after her dog reportedly bit a resident, caught juveniles attempting to steal patio furniture, helped locate an adult with special needs and more.
This is Greendale Police Department's Activity Log for June 30 through July 6, released Thursday.
A Greendale resident reported to police that when she was working outside at a business, a customer grabbed her arm and pulled it inside their car. A dog inside the vehicle then bit the Greendale resident, according to the activity log.

Police later located the customer and dog. A Greendale Police officer saw that "the dog was acting so aggressively inside the vehicle β slamming its body against the car window β that the he feared it would break out and attack him."
The woman that owned the dog, not a resident of Greendale, was given a citation for disorderly conduct and for harboring a vicious animal, the activity log said.

The department also reported multiple businesses had merchandise and cash stolen. Three people reportedly stole a cash register and items. Two of the suspects fled and left the third one behind, who was carrying everything that was stolen.
The man that was left behind with all of the stolen merchandise in his hands was charged with criminal damage to property, retail theft, resisting arrest, possession of drug paraphernalia and bail jumping, the activity log said.
A Greendale resident reported to police that juveniles were attempting to steal patio furniture. The juveniles damaged a patio table and stole a Tiki Torch. The victim decided not to press charges against the juveniles, but their parents were contacted, according to the activity log.
The activity log reports that an adult non-resident of Greendale was cited for operating while intoxicated after he was pulled over for going 75 in a 45 MPH zone.
The passenger in the vehicle was cited for underage drinking.
