Cordero-Duvergel was then taken to St. Luke’s Medical Center for treatment and was handcuffed to a bed. He defecated himself twice, then needed to be released to use the bathroom.

When he was free of the handcuffs, Cordero-Duvergel then broke free from two police officers and then punched another officer in the face before running down the hall.
