• Office of the Commissioner of Insurance: Administrative actions September 2026 (wisbusiness.com) — Greendale residents are directly affected by a recent state insurance enforcement report noting that a local intermediary, listed at a Greendale address, had her license revoked for unpaid Wisconsin taxes. The broader update details similar actions against other agents and companies statewide, underscoring how the Office of the Commissioner of Insurance polices licensing, misrepresentation, and consumer protection issues that can impact anyone buying coverage.
• New businesses of Milwaukee's northern suburbs sell coffee, pho, games, pizza (jsonline.com) — Greendale diners may be interested to know that First Watch's Bayshore location is slated to open in late October, joining an existing restaurant already operating in Greendale. The story also highlights several other new spots in nearby suburbs, from a Vietnamese pho restaurant and mahjong lounge at Bayshore to a new board game shop in Grafton and a planned Play It Again Sports in Fox Point.
