34-Year-Old Man Shot and Killed; 2 Shootings in Less than 24 Hours
Less than 24 hours after a 14-year-old was arrested in a double-shooting in West Allis, a 34-year-old man is dead in Milwaukee.

MILWAUKEE, WI — For the second time in less than 24 hours, the metro Milwaukee area has been rocked by the report of a fatal shooting in a quiet residential neighborhood.
On Monday morning, just as the weekday commute began in earnest, Milwaukee police responded to the 1300 block of S. 24th St. on a report of a homicide.

When police arrived, and began their investigation, they found that a 34-year-old man was shot at that location.

First responders acted quickly to save the man's life, however despite lifesaving efforts by police and fire personnel was pronounced dead at the scene. Milwaukee police continue to seek a motive and search for suspect(s).

Less than 24 hours prior to Monday's incident, a 14-year-old was arrested after one man was been shot and killed, and a second victim was injured after gunfire erupted in West Allis on Sunday morning.

According to police, the fatal shooting happened at about 10 a.m. on the 2100 block of 89th St. near Grant St. in West Allis.
The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner was called to the scene to investigate, and determined that a 19-year-old died as a result of the shooting. According to the Medical Examiner's office, the shooting is being considered a homicide.
A second shooting victim, a 17-year-old, was transported to Froedtert Hospital. The extent of injuries in not currently known.
According to a Journal Sentinel report, the 14-year-old, who is considered a suspect in the crime, was arrested inside his home just after 2 p.m. Sunday.
