Woman Killed In Hit And Run On 108th Street: West Allis Police

A 20-year-old woman died after she was struck by a car when she was crossing the street, police said. The suspect vehicle fled the scene.

WEST ALLIS, WI — The West Allis Police Department is investigating a fatal hit and run that happened on 3200 South 108th Street early Tuesday morning, the department said in a media release.

Several calls filtered into the department around 6:30 a.m. about a pedestrian being struck by a car. West Allis police and firefighters arrived and rendered aid to the woman, a 20-year-old from Milwaukee, but she died on the scene, according to the news release.

Police say the suspect vehicle, a 2014-2016 gray Toyota Corolla that likely has damage to the front of the vehicle, was traveling northbound on 108th Street when it struck the pedestrian as she was crossing the roadway. The car then fled.
