Free Cake To Mark Celebration At Nothing Bundt Cakes Greenfield

GREENFIELD, WI — There's free cake coming to Greenfield.

Nothing Bundt Cakes at 7450 West Holmes Avenue is planning on handing out 300 free confetti "bundlet" cakes for its grand opening celebration on Jan. 22, according to a news release.

On top of the free cake news, the business plans to donate 15 percent of sales on that day to Make-A-Wish, owner Mike DeJong said in the news release.

"This organization creates life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses," DeJong said in the news release.

In the days leading up to the event, military, teachers, healthcare workers, first responders and city employees will also get to claim a free bundlet at the Greenfield location.

Here's who can claim a free bundlet cake from the Greenfield location and when:

• Monday - Healthcare workers
• Tuesday - Teachers and School Staff
• Wednesday - Military and First Responders
• Jan. 20 - City, Town, Village Employees
• Jan. 22 - The business will hand out up to 300 free cakes starting at 10 a.m. Limit one per person.

Throughout the week of free cake, all are also welcome to enter for a chance to win free bundtlets for a year, the news release said.

On Jan. 19 at 11 a.m., the Greater Brookfield Chamber of Commerce is scheduled to hold a ribbon-cutting for the business.

Nothing Bundt Cakes, which has 400 locations across North America, was founded in 1997. They sell specialty bundt cakes that are hand-crafted and baked on-site.

Monday-Friday: 10:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.

Saturday: 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
