West Allis Shooting a Homicide, Suspect Caught After High-Speed Chase
Suspect turns up after a reported drive-by shooting on I-94 in Sauk County

WEST ALLIS β The suspect authorities believe is responsible for a homicide in West Allis Sunday morning was just wasn't going to lay low.
Authorities caught up with the suspect later Sunday after the person of interest reportedly made threatening remarks at a nearby church and later staged a drive-by shooting on I-94 east nearly 90 miles away from the incident.

West Allis Police responded to an apartment on the 2300 block of South 92nd Street in West Allis Sunday morning on a report of a robbery.
When they arrived, police found a male victim with a gunshot wound who later died from their injuries sustained during the robbery, according to a Department of Justice release.
The suspect could not be immediately found, and a manhunt was initiated in the area.
The Incident at Church
During the course of the search, the West Allis Police Department learned that a person of interest in the shooting was associated with Epikos Church, located in the 6200 block of West Greenfield Avenue, authorities said.

Authorities learned the person of interest had made threatening statements regarding a member of the church. West Allis officers responded to the church to provide information to church officials and ensure the safety of church members.
Suspect Located, Caught
Authorities widened their search, and the apparent suspect turned up in after a reported drive-by shooting along eastbound I-94 in Sauk County, the release said.
A police pursuit ended with law enforcement firing shots at one of the suspects, and ultimately, the apprehension of three suspects who were suspected of being involved in a drive-by shooting of another vehicle in Sauk County.

According to authorities, a preliminary investigation revealed the individual involved in the Sauk County drive-by shooting is the person responsible for the homicide that occurred this morning in West Allis.
