• Balsam Row Dam owner says they expect dam to be operational this year (nbc26.com) — Flooding last month brought the Balsam Row Dam in Gresham within inches of overtopping, but the owner now expects the dam to be fully operational again by this fall. Crews stabilized the situation with sandbags, and repairs to the gates should finish this month, with a new generator targeted for September. Tribal leaders still want long-promised fish passage improvements once the dam is running.
