• Shiocton Residents Allowed to Return Home as Flood Recovery Efforts Continue (tchdailynews.com) — Shiocton residents will be allowed to start returning home Thursday as floodwaters recede and a major community cleanup is set for Saturday. Hortonville Lions, along with Wolf River Community Bank, will serve meals at the River Rail parking lot to support volunteers and returning residents. Additional help, supplies, and volunteer signups are available through local agencies later this week. 
• 160-acre property donated to Fox Valley Technical College will serve as outdoor classroom (fox11online.com) — A newly donated 160-acre property near Hortonville is being turned into an outdoor classroom for Fox Valley Technical College students, especially in natural resources and wildland firefighting. Starting this semester, classes are already using the diverse habitat, and the college is planning long-term conservation, restoration, and possibly relocating entire programs to the site.
