UPDATE: Escaped Inmate Taken Into Custody in Hudson

Sept. 8, 2012: On Friday, September 7, 2012, Jesse Marske removed his GPS bracelet, and walked away from his court ordered work release job site. A request for assistance was made in an attempt to locate him. This afternoon, Sept. 8, at about 12:30, a citizen reported seeing a person matching the description of Marske in the area of USH 12 and Brakke Dr in the Town of Hudson. Marske was located, and taken into custody by St. Croix County Sheriff's Deputies, without incident. The investigation continues, and new criminal charges are pending. We would like to thank the public for their assistance in this arrest.

Sept. 7, 2012: The St. Croix County Sheriff’s Office is asking for your help in locating an inmate who was out on a court ordered Huber Work Release Program when he removed his GPS Bracelet and absconded from custody. Marske was scheduled to return to the St. Croix County Jail at 2am today from his job in River Falls. 

The Inmate, Jesse A. Marske age 25 is serving a sentence for Disorderly Conduct and 2 counts of Failure to Support Child/Children. Marske was due to be released next month.

“My main concern is that according to court records Marske has a previous sexual assault conviction and although I have no other information that he may be a danger to the community, I must make every effort to keep our citizens informed”, said Sheriff John Shilts.

Every effort is being made to locate Marske and return him to custody. In the mean time we are asking for the publics help in locating Marske.
