Chasing the Solar Eclipse

Friends of the Hudson Library is sponsoring a presentation by Bill Friedlander at 6:30 PM on Tuesday May 24th.  Friedlander’s topic is “Chasing the Solar Eclipse.”  Some people, sometimes referred to as "eclipse chasers" or "umbraphiles," will travel to remote locations to observe a predicted central solar eclipse.  Are Bill and Sally Friedlander “umbraphiles?”  Come find out -- see Bill’s pictures and share the eclipse experiences that the Friedlanders have had.  The presentation will be at the Hudson Area Joint Library, 700 First Street (corner of First and Vine).  Admission is free, but seating is limited to 50. To reserve a seat, register at the circulation desk, or call the library at 715-386-3101.
