Friends of the Hudson Library is presenting the film "What Are We Doing Here?" at 6:30 PM on Tuesday, February 22nd, at the Hudson Public Library, 700 First Street. This film looks at how twenty years of public and private foreign aid has affected the people of Africa: has it been helpful or harmful? Three brothers and their cousin spent six months travelling in twelve African countries, on a budget of $10 per day, looking for answers to this question. They edited their 350 hours of filming into a feature-length film that will change the way you look at Africa forever. There is no admission charge. A brief discussion will follow the film.
