A few ambitious folks got together and decided to connect the dots, and to connect and connect... This initiative resulted in the first trans continental road – The Yellowstone Trail. From “Plymouth Rock to Puget Sound!”
The Hudson Area Chamber of Commerce & Tourism Bureau is partnering with local and regional community organizations to celebrate our presence on the trail. An architectural treasure hunt, historical walking tours, Octagon House tours, and the Nova Caves will awaken curiosity of Hudson history. Vintage autos, tractors, high-wheel bikes and a stagecoach will be traveling the downtown on display. As you stroll the streets, we invite you to enjoy old-thyme entertainment and carnival games. Whether geocaching along the way or simply enjoying the ride, thank you for joining us as we “Re-blaze the trail” and explore the region’s rich historical heritage.
