Fire Contained at Boumeester & Sons Excavating Sunday; No Injuries

More than 40 firefighters responded Sunday afternoon to the maintenance shop fire of the excavating contractor company.

No injuries were reported after more than 40 firefighters from two departments responded to a small maintenance shop fire at  on Highway 35 Sunday afternoon.

Hudson Fire Chief Jim Frye said crews, assisted by firefighters from the , responded to the report of the fire in the business' equipment and maintenance shed at 12:30 p.m. The fire was contained within about 20 minutes.

The cause has yet to be officially determined. No damage amount was estimated.
