Hudson First Responders Extricate Two Drivers After Accident

Vehicles collided on Coulee Road in front of Target and Family Fresh.

First responders from , and responded to a two-vehicle accident on Coulee Road in front of Target and at about 4:45 p.m. today.

Sgt. Jason Muenich, of the Hudson Police Department, said that both drivers weren't seriously injured, but because of the damage to the vehicles, they needed to be extricated.

"They have medium to moderate injuries, which aren't life-threatening," Muenich said. "It looks like the SUV pulled out into the street in front of the car."

Muenich said he was surprised that these types of accidents don't happen more because of the high snow banks surrounding intersections this time of year, but he wasn't sure that was the case in this particular accident.

The incident is under investigation.
