Hudson Cheer Team Wins Northern Regional, Advances to State Cheer Championships

The Raiders earned first place in the coed small division and will travel to Green Bay for next week's State Cheer Championships.

The Hudson Raiders cheer team finished first in the coed small division of the Northern Regional Cheer Championships at Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln High School on Saturday, Feb. 19, 2011. The team will compete in the State Cheer Championships at Brown County Veterans Memorial Arena in Green Bay on Saturday, Feb. 26, 2011.

"Hudson gave an energetic, sound performance that was both entertaining and crowd-pleasing, with high competition," said Hudson Cheer Coach Suzi Robole.

The competition is part of the Wisconsin State Cheer Championship Series and organized by the Wisconsin Association of Cheer/Pom Coaches Inc.
