Hudson Gymnast Competes at State
Hudson junior Amanda Baker placed 24th at state in the all-around competition and registered top-25 finishes in three events.
Hudson High School junior gymnast Amanda Baker competed in the WIAA state gymnastics meet Friday, March 4, in Wisconsin Rapids, placing 24th in the all-around competition and taking home top-25 finishes in three events.
In the all-around competition, Baker placed 24th with a score of 33.217 by way of 8.117 on the balance beam, 8.767 on the floor exercise, 7.683 on the uneven bars and 8.650 on the vault.
Baker's vault score was good enough for 25th place while her effort on the uneven bars earned her 24th place. Her best placing came with a 20th place on the floor exercise.
