Missing Money: After a long weekend away from their home in the 2100 block of Cattail way, a 42-year-old man called police on July 6 to report a bank envelope with $365 was missing from the home. The man said his teenaged daughter had been in and out of the house all weekend, sometimes leaving the door unlocked, so it’s possible the cash was stolen. The man’s wife wanted to talk to the daughter and her friends about the missing money. They also reported there have been reoccurring knocks at their patio door but they have not been able to determine who was knocking.

Suspicious Kings: Around 4 a.m. on July 7 the police station received a phone call about suspicious activity in Burger King in the 2400 block of Center Drive. There were vans as well as a trailer parked outside the restaurant and people, who were not wearing Burger King uniforms, working inside the building. Police discovered the men were hired by Burger King to replace the computer system. “Because it appears this is in fact what they were doing I cleared,” the reporting officer wrote.
