Underage Drinking Party on Sandbar: A Hudson Police officer was dispatched to assist a North Hudson officer at about 11:15 p.m. on Tuesday, June 28. The two officers were patrolling railroad property on foot when they came across an 18-year-old Lakeland man carrying a 12-pack of beer. The man told the officers he was trying to find a party of about 35 people drinking on one of the sandbars. The officers ordered the man to dump his beer, collect the cans and call his mother to pick him up from the scene.
