Hudson Soccer Team Shocks Top-Seeded Eau Claire Memorial, 1-0, to Advance to WIAA Sectionals

Hudson's Alex Schnobrich netted the game-winning goal to put the Raiders in the WIAA sectional round.

The eighth-seeded Hudson Raiders defeated the top-seeded Eau Claire Memorial Old Abes, 1-0, in Eau Claire on Thursday to advance to the WIAA Sectionals.

Alex Schnobrich netted the game-winning goal to end Memorial's season and send Hudson deeper into the WIAA postseason. The Raiders next play at Wausau East at 4 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 20.
