Hudson Teen's Car Bursts Into Flames on I-94 Near Woodbury
The car fire broke out Saturday afternoon on westbound I-94 near Woodbury Drive.
A mechanical problem sparked a fire that led to a vehicle on Interstate 94 becoming engulfed in flames Saturday afternoon.
It was an older car with about 180,000 miles on it, said Woodbury Fire Cmdr. John Wallgren.
A teenager from Hudson was driving the vehicle, which started smoking after being driven only a few miles, Wallgren said. There were three other teens in the car at the time and they all escaped unharmed, Wallgren said. They were on a scavenger hunt.
