Liquor Stolen, Employee Assaulted at Spirit Seller Liquors
After pursuing shoplifting suspects outside the store, a Spirit Seller employee was hit in the face.
The is looking for a group of five or six black males after a theft and assault at this morning.
According to a police department press release, two black males entered the store at about 9:20 a.m. and were seen hiding liquor bottles in their clothing. When confronted by a female employee, the suspects left the store without returning the liquor.
The woman called 911 and followed the men out of the store where they met up with three or four other men in a silver four-door vehicle with a Minnesota license number that resembled UGE-316.

The woman began to clean off the front license plate when one of the men hit her in the face several times before the two got into the vehicle. The car was last seen heading toward Interstate 94.
The employee's injuries weren't serious and she didn't opt to receive medial care.

Hudson Police were on the scene seconds after the incident, but were unable to find the vehicle or the suspects. Law enforcement agencies in both Wisconsin and Minnesota are working on the case.
