Stratford Man Killed in Motorhome Fire on I-94
Eric Ludwig of Stratford was sleeping in the motorhome when it caught fire.
According to the Wisconsin State Patrol, a 22-year-old man from Stratford was killed early Thursday in a motorhome fire on westbound I-94 east of Hudson.
Eric Ludwig was sleeping in the motorhome, which was being pulled by a Ford F-150 pickup truck at 1:18 a.m. Thursday when the motorhome was fully engulfed in flames, according to a State Patrol news release.
In addition to State Patrol, the St. Croix County Medical Examiner, , , Roberts Fire & Rescue, River Falls EMS, , Roberts Police Department and Hammond Police Department assisted on the scene.
