• New details in fatal vehicle vs. pedestrian crash in St. Croix County (weau.com) — A 20-year-old New Richmond woman is charged after a man known for his early-morning walks was fatally struck on County Road N in St. Croix County, with investigators saying she drove home from Hudson believing she hit a deer. Authorities report signs of intoxication, a high preliminary breath test, and charges including homicide by intoxicated use of a vehicle, with a court status conference set for November 4.
