• First Catholic high school to open in Diocese of Superior in 57 years (superiorcatholicherald.org) — Families in Hudson will soon have a new local Catholic high school option, with Solanus Catholic High School opening in 2027 and initially housed at St. Patrick Catholic School in town. The Diocese of Superior is hiring a principal, planning a founders event, and inviting prospective students and donors to get involved as they work toward a permanent site in St. Croix County. 
• Jerry Craven 09/23/2026 (bakken-young.com) — Hudson is mourning the loss of 67-year-old resident Jerry Craven, a devoted family man known for his love of golf, snowmobiling, and helping neighbors. His family invites friends to a Celebration of Life on Sunday, October 4, at Badlands Golf Course in Roberts, and suggests memorials to the PBCers Organization in honor of his battle with Primary Biliary Cholangitis.

PRAISE THE LORD!!!!!! Our cat escaped last night around 7:30-8:00PM and we have been searching for him. His name is Luka. Please reach out if you… (Nextdoor Indigo Ponds) - Drove by a Siamese-looking cat hanging out in the field near the Bella Rose apartments this morning around 6:05 am (9/24/2026) - wasn't able to get a picture unfortunately.
