Prospect Park
Hudson's oldest park, offers a beautiful view of the St. Croix and of the City of Hudson. This expansive community space has two pavilion available to rent. If the traditional picnic blanket is more your style, your options are wide open - but consider the area around the park swing overlooking the city.
Ferry Landing Park
Just a stone's throw away from downtown Hudson, is home to stunning views of the St. Croix and opens in mid-May. Looking to take your munchies on the water? A public boat launch is available at the park.

Willow River State Park
is a classic choice for a picnic outing. The nearly 3,000 acre park has a waterfall, sandy beach and 13 miles of trails for walking off the calories from an extra helping of potato salad.
Weitkamp Park
Weitkamp Park is the best place to explore new territory. Hudson's most recently built park, the grounds of Weitkamp Park are located at 648 O'Neil Road, near one of the city's water towers. The city recently finished construction on a picnic pavilion, and a grill is available for creating fresh, hot eats.

Lakefront Park
Though it was recently flooded, has received an admirable clean-up job and is ready for families to flock to its beautiful space. Featuring a popular beach and picnic shelter, Lakefront Park is the way to go if you want to be close to the St. Croix.
