Hudson Cross Country Teams Run At Roy Griak Invitational
Hudson girls, boys cross-country teams compete at multi-state meet at the University of Minnesota on Saturday.
It was a near-perfect day for a run, and the Hudson cross-country teams took full advantage of it by competing in the multi-state Roy Griak Invitational at the University of Minnesota in St. Paul on Saturday afternoon.
Raiders Girls Place 15th
The Raiders girls took 15th in the 44-team girls Gold Division race, lef by Katie Wetzstein's 12th-place individual finish of 19 minutes, 18.6 seconds on the five-kilometer course.

Also accounting towards Hudson's team finish were Erin Wetzstein (20:29.7) in 81st, Sadie Kroll (20:39.0) in 101st, Morgan Merantic (20:39.1) in 102nd and Rachel Anderson (21:39.0) in 206th.
Among the 411 total girls finishers were Raiders runners Ellen Snyder (21:42.6) in 216th, Marki Thompson (23:20.2) in 347th, Meghan Rudquist (23:23.4) in 350th, Olivia Avery (24:07.6) in 375th, Krista Mathes (24:28.6) in 385th and Dayna Ball (24:48.4) in 389th.

Raiders Boys Take 45th
Paced by Ryan Kromer's 24rd-place individual finish of 16:30 on the 5K course, the Hudson boys placed 45th in the Gold Division competition.
Also contributing towards the Raiders' placement were Anders Christensen (18:06.64) in 267th, Grant Starr (18:10.34) in 279th, Jack Kadidio (18:10.89) in 282nd and Donald Clark (18:27.99) in 329th.
Among the 472 boys to finish were Hudson racers Logan Hammer (18:28.19) in 330th, Tyler West (18:39.14) in 363rd, Noah Burns (19:41.04) in 439th and Greg Frechette (22:50.59) in 471st.
