• 'Include local governments:' Luckey issues statement following Microsoft deal with Sinnissippi solar (gazettextra.com) — A major solar project planned on land in Ixonia, Watertown, and Concord will send 90% of its power to a Microsoft data center elsewhere in Wisconsin, sparking concern from Jefferson County's administrator. He argues local governments and residents are losing control over land-use decisions and seeing little direct energy benefit, even as construction on the 100-megawatt Sinnissippi Solar Energy Center is slated to begin in 2027.
