• Chippewa County Board passes amended agreement with Chippewa Valley Music Festivals (weau.com) — Residents near Jim Falls should know the Chippewa County Board just approved a revised security agreement with Chippewa Valley Music Festivals, affecting Rock Fest and other nearby events through 2028. Festivals will reimburse most, but not all, overtime costs for deputies, while the sheriff will decide how many officers are needed at different times during the concerts.
