Investigators describe suspicious messages sent from a new account after the woman vanished, while prosecutors allege the husband tried to cover up her death and the defense claims she died by suicide.

• Sentry North exercise prompts an increase in military aircraft activity over central Wisconsin (wbay.com) — Expect more military jet noise and sightings in Juneau County from June 1–12 as the Sentry North training exercise runs out of Volk Field. F-35s, F-16s, and other aircraft may fly supersonic above 30,000 feet, with activity most days between 9:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Nearby counties across central Wisconsin will also notice the increased flights.
