Leaders are weighing a smaller cost-of-living raise for employees, while projections suggest a higher property tax levy but a lower tax rate for a typical $300,000 home.
   

• Stride Youth Leadership Conference: Communication Skills, Career Plans (morningagclips.com) — From Juneau teens are being invited to the 2026 Stride Youth Leadership Conference at UW–Madison on Nov. 17, where they'll practice communication skills and explore agriculture-related careers. Open to students ages 15 to 18, the program includes leadership sessions, hands-on labs, meals, and a t‑shirt, with registration due by Nov. 12.
