• Crews spend hours battling fire at Combined Locks paper mill (nbc26.com) — Firefighters from Kimberly joined several neighboring departments Monday night to battle a dryer fire at the McKinley Paper Mill in nearby Combined Locks. Crews spent about three hours containing flames on the roof and upper sections of the mill, and thanks to coordinated efforts and sprinkler systems, no injuries were reported while the cause and damage estimates remain under review.
