• Body of missing boater recovered (wsau.com) — Emergency crews in Lac du Flambeau have recovered the body of a visiting boater from Whitefish Lake after a two-day search involving local tribal police, fire, and EMS. Multiple neighboring departments, state agencies, and a specialized dive team joined the intensive effort, which used sonar, drones, and search dogs. Local tribal departments publicly thanked all assisting responders for their support.
