  1. Police say a 29-year-old woman was hospitalized after being stabbed at one of the city's tiny shelter encampments for homeless individuals on Tuesday morning. According to a spokesperson for the Madison Police Department, the victim was visiting a friend when she was allegedly stabbed by a 52-year-old woman who lives at the encampment. The victim was taken to a nearby hospital and treated for non-life-threatening injuries. (Subscription: Madison.com)
  2. Police and Verona Area High School officials are investigating after a social media threat was made against the school on Wednesday morning. According to an announcement from Principal Pam Hammen, the message was posted to a private Instagram page and claimed that an anonymous actor would "hurt people" during the lunch hour on Wednesday. Hammen says the school increased its presence of police and security officers throughout the building in response to the threat. (Channel3000.com - WISC-TV3)
  3. The Dane County Broadband Task Force is asking residents to complete an online survey about broadband access. Data from the survey will be used to make recommendations to the Dane County Board to help improve broadband access across the county.
