1. 309-Unit Waterfront Community in Madison Celebrates Grand Opening (connectcre.com) — A new 309-unit waterfront apartment community called The Duncan has just opened on Madison's isthmus at 1625 Lock Lane, offering lakeside living close to downtown. The project brings studios through three-bedrooms and townhomes, connecting residents to Tenney Park, trails, bike routes, and central Madison, and signals continued investment in local housing options.
2. Stormwater Expert Panel: What's one thing you wish the Madison community knew about stormwater they don't know or don't seem to understand yet? (cityofmadison.com) — Madison's Engineering Division is using Wisconsin Stormwater Awareness Week to explain how our fully separate stormwater and sanitary systems work and why residents' daily choices matter. Local engineers stress that fertilizer, salt, and other runoff from our properties flow directly into area lakes and streams, urging neighbors to hold contractors accountable and adopt cleaner practices.
3. Madison Health Officials Search for Biting Dog on Cabot Lane (news-usa.today) — Madison health officials are urgently trying to locate a dog involved in a recent biting incident on the 800 block of Cabot Lane on the city's east side.
