Here are the top stories today in Madison:
- The City of Madison has paired up with New Year Investments, a real estate developer, to revitalize the Triangle—an area of public housing west of Downtown. The women-owned, Madison company is helping the city plan and develop nearly 340 housing units while sustaining the Triangle as a space with affordable housing and cultural diversity. (Wisconsin State Journal)
- The Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation, also known as WARF, made a $216.8 million investment into the University of Wisconsin-Madison. The largest gift in the foundation's history, "the funds will go toward a bevy of initiatives and programs, including new facilities, research development, faculty recruitment and additional support for graduate students. - Remember the CurderBurger (it was only a few weeks ago!)? The fried cheese-topped burger did big numbers for Culver's, helping one out of every five of its locations set sales records. (Channel3000).
