• Local rescue secures release of 135 additional beagles from Wisconsin research facility (foxchattanooga.com) — Marshall will briefly host 135 rescued beagles Wednesday morning as they arrive at an off-site location to be processed before heading to Big Dog Ranch Rescue in Florida for medical care and adoption. The transfer is part of a massive, ongoing effort to move more than 1,500 dogs out of a Wisconsin research breeding facility and into homes nationwide.
