• Marshfield man charged in April 28 shooting death of Medford man (wausaudailyherald.com) — A 19-year-old Marshfield resident has been charged in connection with the April 28 shooting death of a 21-year-old Medford man after a dispute over a girlfriend’s belongings, according to a criminal complaint. Prosecutors allege alcohol and a handgun were involved, and a Taylor County judge kept the defendant’s cash bail at $250,000, with his next court appearance set for June 17.
