2012 WISCONSIN BEER LOVERS FESTIVAL: Third annual festival to feature brews from more than 30 Wisconsin craft breweries paired with local cuisine

Tickets are now on sale for the third annual Wisconsin Beer Lovers Festival, to be held on Saturday, June 16, 2012 (Father’s Day weekend) from 1-5 p.m. at Bayshore Town Center. The festival is hosted by the City of Glendale, in partnership with the Wisconsin Brewer’s Guild (WBG) andDraft Magazine, and is the premier all-Wisconsin craft beer and tasting festival, featuring selections from more than 31 craft breweries throughout the state. Each of the participating breweries will be paired with local chefs to create a unique tasting portion designed to complement a variety of unique beers available for sampling. “Now in its third year, the festival has become a landmark event for Wisconsin craft breweries, as well as craft beer enthusiasts,” said Jeff Hamilton, president of Sprecher Brewery in Glendale and president of the Wisconsin Brewer’s Guild. “The festival’s intimate atmosphere, allowing attendees to interact directly with brew masters and chefs to learn about their creations, on top of the all-inclusive nature of admission tickets and Glendale’s nearbyshopping, dining, entertainment options, have made the event truly unique among beer festivals.” Other area breweries also participating in the Wisconsin Beer Lovers Festival include: • Chameleon Brewing • Lakefront Brewery • Silver Creek Brewing • Delafield Brewhaus • Milwaukee Brewing Company • Big Bay Brewing Company Tickets and festival travel packages are available atwww.WisconsinBeerLoversFest.com starting at $40. Tickets include admission, a souvenir beer glass and unlimited sampling of beers and food pairings. Patrons must be 21 years of age or older to attend the event. Photo identification will be required at the admission entrance. Designated drivers and patrons under 21 years of age can purchase a “Food Lovers Ticket” for $20.
