Calling all Lawnmowers: Senior neighbors need You

Flowers are blooming and the grass is growing. Seniors in your neighborhood need YOU this summer to assist them with their lawn mowing needs. Interfaith Senior Programs of Waukesha County is seeking lawn mowing enthusiasts.

Currently, 40 lawn mowing volunteers are needed in the following communities:  Brookfield, Butler, Dousman, Eagle, Hartland, Lannon, Menomonee Falls, Muskego, New Berlin, Oconomowoc, Pewaukee, Sussex, and Waukesha.

If this appeals to you round up your friends, co-workers or family to help someone in need. The best thing about this volunteer opportunity is the flexibility to work around your schedule. Lawn mowing volunteer Tim Sieger  was looking for something to do with his free time and discovered the opportunity to help neighbors in need. Tim shares, “I like to mow lawns because it is fulfilling and I like to make the properties look better.” So join Tim and adopt a lawn today!
