Falls Distinguished Young Woman to Compete for State Title

Eilish Zembilci, the 2013 Distinguished Young Woman of Menomonee Falls, will be competing for the title of Distinguished Young Woman of Wisconsin on Saturday, August 4, 2012 at the South Milwaukee Performing Arts Center.  She is the daughter of Nancy McDevitt and Harun Zembilci and is entering her senior year at Menomonee Falls High School.  Eilish was chosen to represent Menomonee Falls at the local program held February 18, 2012.  Eight other Distinguished Young Women from around the state will compete for the title and scholarships.  Eilish will be performing a French horn solo for the talent competition.

 Contestants at all levels of Distinguished Young Women are judged on scholastics, interview, talent, self-expression and physical fitness.  The winner of the state program will advance to the national competition which will be held June, 2013 in Mobile, Alabama.  The Menomonee Falls program is sponsored by The Optimist Club of Menomonee Falls.

 The 2014 Distinguished Young Woman of Menomonee Falls program is scheduled for February 16, 2013.  High school junior girls who live in Menomonee Falls who would like more information are encouraged to stop by the Distinguished Young Women table at Schedule Distribution on August 21, 2012.
