Give Daffodils. Give Hope.

It is never too late for spring fever and wishing for warmer temperatures. As we look forward to spring, we look forward with hope to warmer days, and to the beauty of green grass and flowers. Another spring event that brings us hope is the American Cancer Society Daffodil Days. Every year we get closer to a world without cancer – with survival rates now over 67% and rising – and Daffodil Days is part of making that happen.

You can help the American Cancer Society save lives by volunteering your time to help coordinate daffodil orders at your business, school or place of worship. We also need help delivering daffodils during Daffodil Days Week, March 11-15, 2013.

Make a minimum $10 donation to receive a bunch of approximately 10 daffodils. This year features Ray O. Hope, the special Boyds Bear designed exclusively for American Cancer Society Daffodil Days Bear and a Bunch that can be ordered for a donation of $25. You might also consider a $25 donation to help the American Cancer Society anonymously deliver Gift of Hope bouquets or Bear Hugs of Hope to local cancer patients.

About the American Cancer Society

The American Cancer Society combines an unyielding passion with nearly a century of experience to save lives and end suffering from cancer. As a global grassroots force of more than three million volunteers, we fight for every birthday threatened by every cancer in every community. We save lives by helping people stay well by preventing cancer or detecting it early; helping people get well by being there for them during and after a cancer diagnosis; by finding cures through investment in groundbreaking discovery; and by fighting back by rallying lawmakers to pass laws to defeat cancer and by rallying communities worldwide to join the fight. As the nation’s largest non-governmental investor in cancer research, contributing nearly $3.7 billion, we turn what we know about cancer into what we do. As a result, more than 13 million people in America who have had cancer and countless more who have avoided it will be celebrating birthdays this year. To learn more about us or to get help, call us any time, day or night, at 1-800-227-2345 or visitcancer.org.
