KinderCare Hosts 5-Star Celebration at Centers Statewide

On Wednesday, June 27, KinderCare^® Learning Centers across the state hosted a 5-Star Celebration to recognize teachers and staff for their hard work and dedication in achieving Wisconsin’s highest rating for quality child care -- the YoungStar 5-Star Rating. At the 40, 5-Star-rated centers, families and the community were invited for a day filled with fun activities, ending in a cake-cutting ceremony. 

YoungStar rates child care providers on educational quality & training, learning environment & curriculum, professional & business practices and the health & well-being of children. Only centers that excel at all four areas achieve the coveted 5-star rating. 

With 40 of its centers 5-star rated by the state, KinderCare has the largest number of high-quality early learning centers in Wisconsin. In addition, 5-star rated KinderCare centers are also nationally accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).
