Local Marketing Firm Takes Home Three MarCom Awards

Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin, March 8, 2013 – With the help of Mangold Creative, a Waukesha-based marketing and advertising agency, Villani Landshapers of Menomonee Falls, along with two other local businesses, has been awarded a MarCom Award for excellence in their branding and marketing. Their work for Villani Landshapers received a Platinum MarCom, while The Sleep Wellness Institute of West Allis and Great Lakes Bio Systems of Sturtevant received Gold awards in this year’s competition.

MarCom Awards is an international competition that recognizes outstanding creative achievement by marketing and communication professionals. This year, there were over 6,000 entries from contestants ranging in size from individual communicators to media conglomerates and Fortune 500 companies.

“The growth we’ve experienced since launching our new branding is amazing,” says Gino Villani, owner of Villani Landshapers, a high-end commercial/residential landscaper and Platinum MarCom recipient. Villani credits Mangold Creative as an instrumental part of their success, “Not many firms can take big-budget marketing experience and apply that level of creativity to a campaign that can be both affordable and effective for a small business. Our new branding has resulted not only in more sales, but also in several more local jobs on the additional crews we have added to accommodate our growth. That’s success beyond any award.”

This year, Mangold Creative submitted only three entries – branding campaigns created for Villani Landshapers, The Sleep Wellness Institute and Great Lakes Bio Systems, all of which received a 2012 MarCom.

“The MarCom statuette graces the trophy cases of big brands like Harley Davidson, Cuisinart, and John Deere, won for work created by the world’s largest, most powerful advertising firms from Chicago, New York and beyond. Standing with these marketing giants is an honor, but it is an even greater honor to bring award-winning branding to small business,” states Heather Mangold, President of Mangold Creative. “Even if you are a small business with lean resources, your brand can do big things and you shouldn’t settle for anything less. That’s the philosophy our firm was founded on. We make the most of those resources – allowing our clients to grow and reach their business goals,” she adds.
