On May 24th New Beginnings Are Possible (NBAP) will be holding their Annual Dinner Fundraiser at the Hilton Garden Inn, 11600 W Park Place, Milwaukee, WI – just off of Good Hope Road. A co-worker had asked if I could help him find various donors/sponsors for the upcoming event- I was able to help with a few company donors. Honestly, the event has become a personal quest for me….after watching The Blind Side recently – it hit me that the kids at 37th & Fond du Lac Ave – need someone/something to provide the hope to help them make something of themselves. We’ll never know if there could be another Michael Oher or Maya Angelou in the Sherman Park neighborhood? A child that needs a little help/encouragement and belief to help them realize their potential and be all that they can be in their community/society!??
