Over 1,000 Girl Scouts 100th Anniversary Camporee at Camp Alice Chester in East Troy

On Saturday, June 9, over 1000 Girl Scouts in grades 2 to 8 from throughout southeastern Wisconsin participated in over 30 activities ranging from wall-climbing and face painting to swimming and hula hooping at Girl Scouts of Wisconsin Southeast’s 100th Anniversary Camporee at Camp Alice Chester in East Troy.

The celebration concluded on the camp’s sports field, where all 1000 girls formed two friendship circles, one in the shape of a trefoil and one in the number 100, which were captured by an aerial photographer. Each girl will  receive a photo postcard as a one-of-a-kind keepsake to commemorate this historic event.
