Perfect Survey Achieved by Local Rehab Center

Alden Estates of Jefferson Rehabilitation and Health Care Center achieved a deficiency-free survey from the Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS). DHS is the state regulatory body that ensures the safety and quality of health services provided to short-term care, long-term care and pediatric patients at health care facilities.

“I am very proud that Alden Estates of Jefferson achieved a deficiency-free survey. Very few health care facilities accomplish such a feat, which recognizes the top-quality nursing care programs that we offer. I am very thankful to have wonderful employees who take such good care of our residents and take pride in what they do,” says Suzanne Whitty, administrator.

Alden Estates of Jefferson, which offers short-term therapy and rehabilitation, underwent a five-day survey that included extensive interviews with nursing staff and other employees as well as residents and their families, reviews of medical records, programs and services and tours of the facility. DHS surveys are unannounced, which makes the facility’s achievement even more impressive.
