Looking for a new exercise that incorporates both strength and cardio for an entire body workout? Look no further than the Tri-County YMCA. The Tri-County YMCA, located at N84 W17501 Menomonee Ave. in Menomonee Falls, now offers TRX Suspension Training, a new category of exercise for athletes of all abilities that leverages one’s own bodyweight and gravity to develop strength, balance, flexibility and joint stability simultaneously.
TRX Suspension Training system is unique training equipment that uses a wall mounted anchor point and is ground based. The design of the TRX allows you to transition quickly and smoothly from exercise to exercise and work your entire body incorporating both strength and cardio.
“TRX Suspension Training gives you a total body workout in 30 minutes, something almost non-existent with other forms of exercise,” said Jason Warwick, personal training manager at the YMCA of Metropolitan Milwaukee. “We are very excited to offer this specialized training, unlike anything else on the market, to our Y members and community participants.”
